"Teacher's House, provided by Kotoba no Kenkyusha, is a residential Japanese language education program. The curriculum is designed to help students enjoy Japanese culture while visiting Japan for an extended period of time.

If you would like to study the language while traveling, please use our Teacher's House.

The Teacher's House, which has been renovated for the enjoyment of people from overseas, offers a purely Japanese cultural experience. During your free time, you can also visit the Bikan Historical Quarter, a popular tourist spot in Kurashiki, so please take the time to enjoy Japanese life during your stay.

The curriculum is tailored to the needs of the institution, so you can use the program as a small language course.

Possible for people from any country

You can become proficient in a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months. The reason for this is that it is individualized and taught by experts in Japanese only.

You can experience traditional Japanese culture every day through your life.

Taste the traditional culture of Kurashiki and learn about Japanese culture.

(ancient tombs, Buddhist temples,castles, local industries, etc.)

You can experience the same lifestyle and customs as Japanese people in a purely Japanese style house.

Outside of study hours, students are free to enjoy the nature of Japan (mountains, sea, and rivers), especially in Okayama Prefecture. You can also taste the fruits of the four seasons.

You can get around by train (Sanyo Line, Shinkansen, bus, cab) or by bicycle, as the cycling paths are well maintained.

Facing the Seto Inland Sea, it is possible to visit islands in the Seto Inland Sea and go as far as Shikoku by using the Shimanami Kaido and Seto Ohashi bridges that lead to Shikoku.

This plan is for one week (Monday through Sunday).
Classes are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and the fee includes the cost of teaching materials. During your trip to Japan, you will be able to experience a solid Japanese language education and learn a language that you can use in practice.
